IMPLEMENTATION CAPACITY
SUMMARY
In our first institutional evaluation one of the opportunities for improvement was related to the implementation of actions and processes. The mission centered planning process allowed us to determine main strategies for the next three years with a clear focus on expected results and its indicators for evaluation. This clear orientation has been key in the definition of steps for the implementation of improvement actions which are now being monitored on a concrete and regular basis. To do so, before beginning the implementation of a new program, we establish criteria for implementation and evaluation. Although this competence is still in a developing stage, we have included this practice as one of our objectives in our plan and will be dedicating time and effort to keep fostering this practice throughout the school so that the adjustments and decisions to continue implementing actions and programs are data driven. Some of the programs being implemented and monitored for results are: Level Up Village, LEGO Robotics, Typing Club, Glifing, Matific platform, Veo Positivo socioemotional, development program. Besides, we are having instructional sessions in which academic performance results are analyzed and improvement actions agreed upon collaboratively. In order to further improve the implementation on operational procedures, we have listed procedures that need to be revised or made explicit and we have established priorities to do carry out this in a systematic and consistent manner. Revised and approved procedures are then communicated in a shared folder and specifically monitored in its implementation by the Leadership team. We believe that promoting these practices will allow for a more efficient use of human and material resources improving sustainability. As part of the Semper Altius/ RC network of schools, we count on the support of the Territory Team of Experts who offer coaching, counseling and supervision in specific areas (admissions, communication, HR, etc). This year we carried out a series of improvements regarding the security in our premises. We have been assisted by a specialist in this area who has presented suggestions for future actions.
